After an epic movie of its Part 1 the demands are crazily huge for its part 2. In this movie, the trio will continue their unfinished job of finding and destroying the Horcruxes. In part 1 Ron destroyed the 3rd Horcrux which was the Salazar Slytherin's Locket so 3 down and 4 to go. What makes it even more complicated is that Harry, Ron & Hermione think there are only 6 Horcruxes. Unknown to all three of them that Harry is the last Horcrux and in order to kill Voldemort, Harry must be killed first. So does this mean Harry will die in Voldemort's hand? Don't read the book ! Find out in the movie. It will be released on 14 July 2011 in Australia.

The trio have admitted that they're really sad knowing that this is the last sequel. After more than a decade working together in Harry Potter movies they sure have lots of good & fun memories

This movie is the fourth sequel of Pirates of Caribbean by Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer. We'll see a bit of difference in the set because in previous sequels the set are located in Caribbean whereas this movie the location is confirmed to be in Hawaii. This fantasy action-adventure film will be available in 3D so that it will be even more satisfying to watch. The previous movies were big success for Walt Disney Pictures and Jerry Bruckheimer so I'm sure we expect more for this movie.
Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley will not be part of this movie like the previous ones but we have Penelope Cruz instead
The plot is again about my favorite pirate the hilarious captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) who meets his love lady from the past (Penelope Cruz). This time he's not sure whether the lady is in love with him or she only uses him to find the fabled Fountain of Youth which is a legendary spring that restores the youth of anyone who drinks its water. So she forces him to get on the Queen Anne's Revenge, the ship of the great pirate Blackbeard. Captain Jack's adventure has just begun. He doesn't know who his big enemy is, Blackbeard or his lady from the past. Put this movie on your must-watch-list !

Panda Po is back it's been quite a long time since we saw Po in action and in this movie PO IS A KUNG FU MASTER ! This is the second sequel of Kung Fu Panda (2008) which was a massive success for DreamWorks Animation. A little sneak peek about the plot, this time Po and his friends Master Shifu, The Furious Five-Monkey, Crane, Tigress, Viper and Mantis who are all the kung fu prodigies must team up with other kung fu master team to defeat Lord Shen. Lord Shen is a peacock who has an ambition to destroy kung fu with his secret weapon. Now Po, friends and the new team which consists of Skunkman, Thundering Rhino, Soothsayer and Croc have a real challenge.
I'm so excited about this movie and I can't wait for it because the first one is so good and for animated movie Kung Fu Panda is just way too hilarious and by watching the trailer I got a good feeling about this one. The director Jennifer Yuh Nelson chose great casts such as Jean Claude Van Damme, Michelle Yeoh, Garry Oldman for the new kung fu team. As for Po & friends all great casts are back like Jack Black, Angelina Jolie, Lucy Liu. I think the casts play a great role in determining the success of the movie. You must check it out ! it's gonna be an epic movie like the first one (or even better) !
Millions of Bieber's fans are eagerly waiting for this movie which will be in cinemas worldwide on 11 February 2011. The director, Jon M Chu who is also the director of Step Up 2 & Step Up 3D said that this movie is not a concert movie, it has characters and story plot. He also said that the Beliebers (Justin's fans) will be surprised to see Justin is just a normal teenage boy lives in an extraordinary life. Purple 3D glasses have also been prepared for the movie. Justin's favorite color is purple so we'll see many purple elements in the movie. You don't wanna miss it if you are a BIG BELIEBER !

The story starts with Justin's early life where he grew up poor with his mom in small town Stratford, Canada. His mom, Pattie recorded dozens of videos of him singing. Justin also taught himself how to sing, dance, rap, play piano, drum and guitar. He also wrote a song about his dad who divorced Pattie and took off when he was just 10 months old. At the age of 12 he joined singing competition at his school (Stratford Idol) where he won 2nd place and posted the video on youtube so his relatives could watch. That video was discovered by his current manager Scott 'Scooter' Braun. He was soon signed by Usher, moved to Atlanta with his mom and that's when his singing career began.
Jaden Smith will be in this movie as well. They've been best friends since they worked together for The Karate Kid soundtrack song, Never Say Never

The Karate Kid (1984)
The Karate Kid is the remake of 1984 film of the same name. The movie is about a 12 year old Dre Parker (Jaden Smith) and his mom Sherry (Taraji P Henson) who are about to have a new life in Beijing, China. Like a fish out of the water, Dre doesn't get along well and he is always bullied by Cheng & friends at his new school. Despite the conflicts he has, he falls in love with Mei Ying who is his only friend at school but he's got a competition because Cheng who is a kung fu prodigy falls in love with her as well.
One day when Dre is bullied near his house, Mr Han (Jackie Chan) who is a maintenance man at Dre's flat saw the fight and helped him. Knowing that his student is defeated by Mr Han, Cheng's evil kung fu trainer told Mr Han to train Dre for an epic kung fu duel against Cheng. If Dre wins, he guarantees Cheng & friends won't bother him anymore but if he loses, Dre will be bullied forever. This is when Dre's journey started. He gets a teacher that he's never expected before.

In my opinion what makes this movie is crazily successful is that they choose Jaden & Jackie as the main characters. As you all know there's no one like Jackie Chan, everybody loves him and Jaden is a talented dancer, rapper and actor like his parents, actor Will Smith and actress + singer Jada Pinkett Smith. He's also a current sensation young teenager like his best friend, Justin Bieber.

Shrek Forever After is the final chapter of Shrek so it's a bit sad that we won't see Shrek, his family and friends anymore :( This movie is grossing around $737 million and it remained as the #1 film in the US and Canada for 3 weeks, making it a commercial success. Moreover, Shrek is DreamWork's Animation highest-grossing film.

What I really like from this movie is it reminds me with the first Shrek movie which I watched in 2001. The reason is because in this movie Shrek wants to have his old Ogre life where villagers were scared, yelled and ran away whenever they saw him because after he married Fiona, villagers treat him as a normal guy and no one is scared with him anymore. Then he went to the wicked, tricky Rumpelstiltskin to get a day of his old Ogre life and that's when I got to see funny reactions of the villagers. Moreover, my favorite thing from the movie is Shrek's and Fiona's babies Fergus, Farkle and Felicia. Aren't they adorable?
Moreover. Donkey is always be my favorite character because he's the one who always brings up funny moment in all Shrek franchise movies so it is a bit sad for me as well knowing that I won't see Donkey, Puss in Botts and all great characters in this movie.
I'm so glad to write about Harry Potter because it's obviously been my favorite movie since the first sequel in 2001. What makes it even better is NO SCHOOL ANYMORE ! The first six franchise movies always show their fascinating journey at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. They are of course not boring especially imagine if Hogwarts is your school but after facing 6 years of school they do need a break. The trio choose not to attend school for their final year because they need to search for Horcruxes which were hidden outside Hogwarts and they wouldn't be able to find it if they attended school. Harry destroyed the first Horcrux at his second year (Tom Riddle's diary) and Dumbledore destroyed the second (Marvolo Gaunt's ring) during summer break last year so they need to find 5 left.
The movie is divided into two parts because the director, David Yates wants to give the best ending to Harry Potter fans so it must be as detail as possible following the book by J.K Rowling. So clearly if he fitted this in one part it would be a 6 hours movie.

All Harry Potter movies are sitting on the list of highest-grossing movies of all time. This movie is currently grossing almost $750 millions and it may keep increasing over the time. Daniel Radcliffe (Harry), Rupert Grint (Ron) and Emma Watson (Hermione) are also on the list of the richest and most successful young person in the world.

Based on Stephenie Meyer's 2007 novel, this is the third installment of Twilight Saga film series following Twilight (2008) and New Moon (2009). Majority of people that have read the book said that Eclipse has the most interesting story if compared to Twilight, New Moon or Breaking Dawn which is planned to be in cinema worldwide next year. Once again the number has proven that those readers are correct. With grossing about $695 million worldwide it beats Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen's gross profits and holds the record of the film with the wildest independent release playing in almost 5000 theaters.

If I were Bella, I would definitely choose Jacob rather than Edward and I guess that's what most twilight fans want because then she didn't have to give up her family, her life and her friends. In this movie, Bella convinces Jacob that she loves him as a friend and her love to Edward is bigger than her love to Jacob. In a desperate condition, Jacob and his family agree to help the Cullens for a battle to defeat Victoria and her group because they want to kill Bella. Eclipse is the last movie which we see Bella as human because in the next movie (Breaking Dawn) Edward will transform her into a vampire and Jacob is brokenhearted with Bella's decision. Frankly the battle is my favorite scene and Eclipse is my favorite movie compared to other Twilight Saga series.

Alice in Wonderland is the remake of its popular animated version. The director, Tim Burton used computerized life action technology for this movie to give special fascinating effects and to make sure that it will be as good as or even better than all other movies these days. Tim hired screen writer Linda Woolverton because he thinks that the animated version is "a too happy story" which is suitable only for children. He aims to satisfy people at all ages therefore Linda felt that she needed to improvise the plot including adding new characters, adding up some "hatred spices" between the evil red queen and the pretty kindhearted white queen.

This movie grossed over $1 billion worldwide and it sits at the second place of the most successful and highest-grossing movies of all time following Toy Story 3.
This is a great movie but there is one thing which I wish it didn't happen. I noticed that at the very first scene of the movie where Alice was still in her world before she entered the Wonderland, everybody including Alice looked too pale. I don't know whether Tim Burton wanted them to look like that but in my opinion that's a bit disturbing because none of them looked stunning and especially it's the opening scene but overall of the movie apart from that is INCREDIBLE.

So now we know that 90% (or maybe 100%) of the set is the green screen. Tim Burton is a genius !

This is the third sequel of Toy Story. Earning more than $1 billion worldwide, Toy Story 3 is currently sitting at the top chart of the most successful box office movies of all time and it is the highest grossing film of 2010 worldwide. Additionally, it is the highest-grossing film of Disney Pictures' Animation. Also, using the latest computerized technology of 3D makes it even better and more satisfying to watch.
In this sequel, Andy is not a little boy anymore and he can no longer keep Woody, Buzz and friends in his toy box because he's about to move to college dorm. He has finally decided to take Woody with him and keep the rest in the attic but his mom misunderstood and donated all the toys to local preschool. Now they must find a way out to escape the preschool from wicked toys and wicked preschoolers.
The main characters of Toy Story 3
I personally do not really like the ending because it is a sad ending where Andy finally gave up the toys including his favorite, Woody to his neighbor's daughter. But this movie shows true love, team work and good moral which makes it even suitable for all ages to watch and this is definitely one of my favorite movies. The things that I really like about this movie is the toys finally have a 100% journey outside Andy's bedroom. In the previous movies they had a bit of adventure outside the house but mostly they just stayed in Andy's bedroom or around the house.

This is what we have planned so far for the layout of our blog. The reason why we choose this type of layout is because it has many places for gadgets which we need and the posts will have lots of space which is exactly what we want it to be. But it may also change along the process because this is just the rough plan and we always come up with something new each time we meet.
As for the topic, the three of us decided to choose box office movies because not only they're interesting but so many fascinating things to talk about movies, they're never out of date and therefore at least our blog will not be a dull one.
We are still currently not sure about the specific design and color that we want to apply on our blog and we have decided to work on it along the way and hopefully it will match to other elements of the blog. But we will probably choose matching colors for the font, background and other elements of the blog so that it is user friendly.
